Net cash flow shows the external surplus: how much of your incoming external income is left after external expenses (living costs, lifestyle, support payments). Balance-sheet shifts such as saving, repayment or wealth withdrawals do not count here – they are shown separately as the net asset shift. Ideally, the external surplus equals the net asset shift (this is what the consistency check verifies).
