Your net hourly wage shows how much you actually earn per hour – based on your net work income and the hours you work per week. It helps you weigh how you spend your time: is it worth the hourly wage?
Example:€3,000 net income, 40 hours / week. 3,000 ÷ (40 × 4.33) = 3,000 ÷ 173 = €17.34 / h. A €60 dinner then costs you 3.5 working hours.
How it is calculated
Net hourly wage = work income ÷ (weekly hours × 4.33)
